See below: I'm live blogging (when I'm not schmoozing) from the Pasadena Museum of History, where we're celebrating Pasadena's 127th birthday.
Star sighting! I got to meet Congresswoman Judy Chu. She's fab. Left to right: Anne Louise Bannon, Congresswoman Chu, Rachael Faught, me. Roberta Martinez.

What a happy bunch.
Blue jeans rule.
Thanks, Dina. It was such a busy gathering that I didn't have time to add everyone's links, so I'm going to do that now.
Fab photo, Petrea. Looks like you're all having a ball celebrating Pasadena's birthday.
What a happy picture! Sounds a great celebration. Congratulations to Pasadena's 127th birthday!
Happy Birthday, Pasadena! You all look like you are having a great time. Love to know who took the photo and what was being said as it was taken. Result is fantastic!
The photo was taken by Jessie, a Pasadena Museum of History volunteer. The volunteers and docents were amazing all afternoon, helping us all. You can volunteer at pasadenahistory.org.
At one point, I looked around me. Diverse crowd, kids and adults, fun, sun, and cake. I turned to Jessie and said, "I love this town."
"Me too," she said.
It is genuinely a lovely photograph. Thanks for answering my questions, Petrea.
Fancy! Even if you are the one who can't keep a straight face.
