Zen Monday: #125
It's Zen Monday, the day you experience the photo and give us your thoughts rather than me telling you what I think the photo's about.
I look for a photo worth contemplating or, failing that, something odd or silly. And I stay out of the comments box until the end of the day to avoid influencing the discussion, unless you people get totally out of control. That has never happened by my definition, I'm sorry to say.
There's no right or wrong, we're here to have fun.
I wish you a Zen Christmas week!

This looks Like a Pink or Purplish colored house. Imho.
Alternate route for Santa to get down from the roof, especially if he's been eating too many cookies.
Just the right amount of Christmas charm going on here ... Malfunctioning window and all.
Guess I will have to use this ladder until Rapunzel's hair gets a little longer.
With the sleigh and reindeer stuck in snow at Heathrow, Santa's had to move to Plan B.
Beautiful house, multiple home-improvement projects.
Robbery in progress. The grinch has scaled the ladder, entered the window, and is stealing the Christmas presents. He already stole the green light bulbs.
Yes, putting up Christmas decorations in the rain is a rather Zen thing to do.
And a Happy Zen Christmas week to you too, Petrea.
Sometimes I cheat at zen and read the other comments first.
mama don't take my Kodachrome away
let me guess, the kid is home from college, not used to the curfew parents set down and "ooops!" left the ladder up after having been told to help put up the lights so they could meet friends out at the bar? certainly makes the drop from the second story (and the resulting return at 3am) easier, especially while a leeeeetle bit drunk!
wv: dednes....what happens if you get caught sneaking back in at 3am, especially when Mom has been up all night worrying about you! your a$$ is dednes!
Someone just couldn't stand the holiday stress any longer... he/she dinged the light-hanger on the noggin and scaled down the ladder to freedom -- and the rain...

"I Cheat At Zen":
1. I applaud with both hands
2. I already had the pebble in my hand
3. I actually didn't leave the woman on the other side of the river
We all cheat at Zen...but few of us are brave enough to admit it. :)
"Does the red ladder make me look too pink?"
PS - r.e. St. Paul's dome...no I didn't take a tour - none on Sundays, but I did get to hear a wonderful organ concert!
PSS - I realized that the reflection was missing when I posted X-large size photo. I wonder if it puzzled anyone. Anyway, the reflection is obvious now.
PPSS - A Zen Christmas week -- good thing to focus on this week!
What if Santa were to cheat at Zen? Or if he were to elope with Rapunzel?
There are no rules, Karin. I would read everyone else's answer first, too. Who wouldn't?
Hi Petrea. Love your Monday images. The sunny day with the holiday lights makes me wish it were a heck of a lot warmer here in the south today.
And thanks so much for your really kind comment on Wonders & Marvels. All best, Holly
