Today's the day you experience the photo and give us your thoughts rather than me telling you what I think the photo's about. There's no competition, no right or wrong. We're here to have fun.
I look for a photo worth contemplating or, failing that, something odd or silly. And unless I absolutely must say something I stay out of the comments box to avoid influencing the discussion. Ohm.

Really cool! When you squint your eyes you can see the extra "stripes" created by the shadows.

PS - "Mind the gap, Pasadena style" (I think the gap in the shrubbery makes the photo really interesting. - Just love this one.

One night, frustrated that his artistic ambitions were unfulfilled,the painter fell asleep in front of one of artist Gene Davis's paintings, and was inspired to make a horizontal version on this building, which became his canvas.

The hedges tried.
They wanted to be just like the other horizontal lines: joined at the center without a seam in sight.
They reached and reached until...
...they ran out of steam.
It simply was not worth it.

This is sensational, Petrea! Something about it - the colours - that turquoise - makes me think of Hockney and California and those swimming pool paintings.

This is over on Locust St. at Allen Avenue near Jameson & Brown Coffee Roasters, Anon. It's on the north side of the street. I believe it's a storage company.
I love this--I think it's the storage place on locust/allen--but I've never seen it like this--
