Boz is a trustworthy dog. I can let him off his leash in the early hours, when no one's around. He doesn't bother folks (unless they want him to). He avoids fights and rarely barks. In fact he doesn't make much noise at all.
Except the occasional whine.
When I stopped to take a picture of the baseball diamond at Washington Park, he waited patiently. For about a minute. Then he let me know it was time to move on.

All of that green looks wonderful, Boz look wonderful also.
I wish my cat would go on walks with me.
It's a well-used field, as you can see. The fencing is a bit rusted, but the kids don't care.
Palm, I think your cat would go, but she/he wouldn't like it.
Thank you once again for your flattering comments. It's nice to be appreciated, isn't it? Some of my posts with photographs I really like get few comments. Well, ars gratia artis, as a famous LA movie company used to say. There are a couple of other CDPD's I really like that get few comments. Cleveland by iBlowfish and Buenos Aires by Alejandro Gulminelli are examples.
Interesting pictures and discussion on your blog yesterday. The point is well taken. Sometimes I'll take a picture that's not well composed but I find something interesting inside it. The cropping tool in Photoshop is great for this. You can keep clean photographic dimensions, 3 x 4 or whatever you want, while controlling the number of pixels per inch in the resulting picture for a sharp image. All of the four smaller pictures in my post yesterday were significantly cropped.
Speaking of photography advice, Mitch Rossow's Minneapolis CDPD often has interesting discussions of technical issues.

Bobq/strangetastes; Thanks, now I have to go look at all those blogs. I already have too many. Is someone going to invent the 48 hour day soon? I can't pull myself away from my computer long enough to go take pictures.
