Zen Monday #237

A bit of Zen from my trip north along highway 395 late last month. Feel free to leave your own caption/description/comment/snark.

  2. Great photo, Petrea!
I think that must to have a "not allowed" sign to snakes too.
Will I have a picnic there? No way!
Just funny the comment of Andy.

  3. A serious complaint, or observation, or something. I've been up the local trails (e.g. Echo Mountain) several times and come across two mutually incompatible critters: small rattlesnakes dozing right beside the trail, and rambunctious dogs either off leash or on a long leash.

    'Nuff said.

  4. Probably more effective than 'Please Keep Off the Grass'

  5. Some people here brag about eating rattlesnake.(Not me! I'm just a teensy bit ophiophobic). Perhaps they (the snake-eaters) would find this a Choice picnic area. Sans dogs, of course.

  6. So many good comments today, and I've been gone all day. Yes, dogs and rattlesnakes are a bad mix. Dogs find the rattling noise interesting. Rattlesnakes do not find dogs interesting. Therefore, all snakes must be on a leash.

  7. Kelly and I startled a rattlesnake on Sunday! Scared me and Kelly didn't notice it...AND she came when I called her!!! There's a rattler vaccine... I've been thinking about getting it for Kelly...
