Stinky

Stinky, photo by Joel Skelton

You can change his name when you adopt him. "Stinky" refers to the aroma he sported when he showed up looking for food and shelter at my neighbor's place. It's better than "All Bones," which would also have suited him.

I met Stinky out walking in the neighborhood. He's learning the rules of being a good dog. He doesn't need to learn to be around people. He loves people.

Here are some links. Check him out (and be sure to watch the videos).

Stinky needs a home where he's the only child and only dog. He's young and powerful and you will need to be his alpha.

And by the time you meet him he will have had his shots and some of his male accoutrements will be long gone.

Poor Stinky. All he needs is love and guidance. And maybe some painkillers, just for today.

Your photo is more complimentary than the one on FB..omg, poor thing... For a sec I thought you had a surprise at your door... Wish I could take him but I don't think he/Kalei could deal w/divided attention... He's got a sweet face, someone will definitely melt for him.

Hee hee, KBF, it's the same photo! All the photos I've posted today of Stinky were taken by Joel S.

oops, what I meant was that the others showed how thin he was..he must of been starving... too bad the house he wandered in can't adopt him..

Yeah. They have dogs who object to him.

he's lovely! Too bad he would not be an only child at my house.

Oh gosh, what a sweetheart! Loved those photos and that video, but yes so painfully thin when they first found him. If I were in LA and hadn't already taken in Kona, I'd adopt him in a heartbeat!

He's definitely a charmer, BD.

Lulu, this boy was either lucky or smart. He found his way to the right place. These folks are taking good care of him and trying hard to find him a home.

To anyone on the fence about adopting a Staffordshire Terrier, the most devoted, intelligent, and comical dog I ever owned was one. All she wanted to do was make me smile.

Boz was a Boxer mix, and the vet said she thought his mix was Pit Bull. Looking at Stinky tells me she was right.

Did you watch the videos? The last one, "MY yogurt cup," is darling.

I think he'll find a good home. A lot of people are pulling for him. He's one of the lucky ones.

You are a good citizen, Petrea. Hope this lovely dog finds a home soon.

I hope so too! I just checked his facebook page. Nothing yet.

Stinky has good people on his side. Finding a forever home will make losing his male accoutrements a more than worthy sacrifice to make. I hope someone loving and wonderful shows up for him very soon.

Petrea Burchard said...

Me too, Shell.
