Snow topped the mountains yesterday, but I didn't get that picture.

At least this pic gives the illusion that it may not be as cold as those snow capped mtns. :-) Its cold here too! a lot of frost crusted on the lawns!.

I'm enjoying the "other Pasadena." Very peaceful.

Looks like 2012 is riding off into the sunset.

It's warmer here today, and sunny, KBF. Very bright. I hope it means Tuesday will be just as nice.

Adele, peaceful is a good thing.

What time were you there? This is a prizewinning photo, it's terrific.

Maybe I should have saved this one for tomorrow, Dive.

My camera record says 4:58 pm but it couldn't have been that late, Bellis. The time must be set wrong. Right at sunset. Glad you like it.

I agree with Bellis. Gorgeous photo.

And I'm glad you didn't get the mountaintops. You captured the look and feel of the Wild West.

Wonderful photo! It does look very much of the Wild West.

We were out there again today and I tried for mountaintops. Not as much snow today, but it was raining over La Canada Flintridge. We'll see how they turn out.

Looks idyllic

This deserves a soundtrack. Cheyenne by Ennio Morricone

Is, Margaret. Let me know when you want to go.

Karin, for some reason (not the tune, exactly) that reminds me of an old Second City bit, with three cowboys singing "It's so boring on the range."
