"Abundance of brief shining moments for sale in Plano, TX."
Those of us who went to the movies over and over again in 1967, every time we'd saved enough allowance and could get a ride, know the reference. It is a fond memory.
Thank you, GinaB!
(Full disclosure: GinaB is my sister. She and I took a look at the rules and couldn't find any prohibitions against family entering the contest. I don't get to vote, so we figure GinaB gets to enter.)
**********
It's no secret that I'm publicizing the release of my new novel, Camelot & Vine, and (you're helping me!)
with the Camelot Where You Are photo contest.
Enter a picture of Camelot where you are.
It can be anything--a suit of armor, a suit of clothes, a suite of rooms--whatever your imagination tells you.
It's easy to enter and anyone can do it.
Then be sure to vote THIS WEEKEND, starting tonight, for your favorite of
this week's entries.
Each weekly winner receives a free copy of Camelot & Vine upon publication.
Publication day, whatever day it turns out to be, will be the final day
for entries.
Next week we'll be taking a hiatus from contest entries, but keep on entering and we'll get back to it!

'Knight in shining armour' fits the bill. Super collection and entry, Petrea.
How could your sister *not* enter with a photo like that?! Very cool.
I didn't get the reference but as usual google helped me out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_hFoZ6lKQM
It's from the play...
This is a sight to behold.
Yep I figure why bother having a sister if she cannot enter. I know a couple of guys who play the knight must dig out a photo.
NOW this is sweet!. Does your sis also have a blogger page?
No, Gina doesn't blog. She speaks French and writes complicated software manuals and doesn't have time for silly pursuits, unless you're talking about taking Camelot pictures.
@Petrea: 'unless you're talking about taking Camelot pictures'... well of course! lol btw how did u like the downpour yesterday??

Loved it! Hail and all. Boz hated it, though. Rain depresses him. It's something to see, how he crawls into his shell when it rains.
Next rainstorm, I'm wearing one of those shiny suits. Gina excels with this photo - now we have proof that King Arthur was a very small guy.
Wow! It's like the Chinese Terracotta Army, only with bling!
Who's the little guy at the front?
That's Arthur, Dive.
Great photo!!! I noticed the little guy in front too!
But if Bellis is going to wear one of those in the rain...we'd all better be packing a Wizard of Oz oil can!!!
It makes you think, doesn't it? Either suits of armor had to be very larger, or people were very small.
That particular shining moment in the front is the briefest of all, though.
Ah, your sister went the extra mile. (I worked in Plano for two months, never saw anything this interesting.)
Hiker, Gina's been in the Plano area long enough to find the good stuff.
Be sure and vote this weekend everyone. The poll will be up late tonight. Remember, I don't vote and I can't see who you vote for.
Now, that's armor! Looks like they are ready to defend Camelot to the fullest.
I would think sisters with armor like that would be a must for the contest. I got the reference, and will now go to sleep singing (at least in my head).
