Reminder

Last time I posted about the Hahamongna Watershed Park Advisory Committee meeting, folks asked me to remind them about the next one. Thanks to Rosa Laveaga, I have the info:

The next meeting of the HWPAC will be
Tuesday, March 22, 2011 @ 6:00 p.m.

Meeting Location:
Flintridge Retreat Center, Room 117
236 W. Mountain Street
Pasadena, CA 91103
(across from Pasadena City Yards)

The committee meets the fourth Tuesday of every other month at 6pm. The location varies. But you can mark your calendars for next week as well as for May 24th, and put a little reminder on your smart phone or whatever you use. Close to meeting time, you can also check the city's HWPAC page for info, including location and agenda.

I like this picture but it reminds me of black lace. Unfortunately black lace reminds me of a bad boyfriend; fortunately he's long gone.

That's a gorgeous picture! But it just reminds me of a tree. ; )

Eww … Black Lace were the worst and most embarrassing band in England in the seventies and eighties, Petrea.
It's a beautiful photo but now I am stuck with some truly awful tunes in my head.

Ha! J.J., you're back in full swing!

Interesting that they lasted across two decades, Dive. But that sort of thing has happened here, too.

Don't let the sun set on Hahamongna
(or is it sunrise?)!

I won't be able to go as I am a long way away in a cold and grey country, but I hope someone asks who we can turn to/phone if we see any misuse or problems in Haha now that John Cox has been laid off. And what if we need to report something, like a man lighting a fire under an oak tree to keep warm (true story!) on weekends or furlough days?

I remember that, Bellis. Jotting it down.

I love 'em, too, Virginia. Don't know why, but I find them compelling.

Love the photo! Fortunately I don't have any unpleasant memories associated with anything in it.

Thanks, Chieftess.

Ms. M, I like the tree so much it wipes out any bad memories.

Beautiful picture. And about that black lace...did we date the same guy? ;-)

Thanks for keeping us posted on the Hahamongna issue. I need to do another post about it, too.
