I hesitate to tell you my husband was the inspiration for this photo, lest you get the wrong impression. But John sees things, and teaches me to see things, from an artist's perspective and not as my preconceived notions expect them to be.
John holds up the dog poo bag to the sun and suggests I take a picture. This is the result of our collaboration.

Very cool! I love taking pictures of flowers and someone once suggested I take them from underneath. I've gotten some pretty interesting results.
Cool indeed, Patrea. You guys ought to make desktop patterns for Apple.
J.J., that sounds excellent. I may steal your idea.
Dive, I'm mad at Apple right now because ever since Daylight Savings
Time my alarm clock doesn't work. They'll have to beg me.
Poo bags would be more a Microsoft pattern, no?
Poo bag art - I am very impressed.
If the poo fits...etc.
Heavens to Murgatroyd! I was almost afraid to look when I saw this post's title. Whew...
Hmm, yes, perhaps I should have called it something else, something less "on the nose," so to speak.
Alternative energy source, making light from poo!?

people always accuse ME of looking at things in a slightly different manner...a poo bag...not exactly something I'd come up with, but...I haven't had a lot of free time lately, so, the imagination machine isn't working overtime.
really cool shot!
My dogs often admire their own creations. They stop to smell the roses, as it were.
I'll just say today's comments tell me I'm hanging with the right crowd.
It's a fab photo! And the comments from this group are always great to read :)
I agree, Ms. M. I like this crowd.
If you enlarged this and called it Untitled #24 and put it in a gallery I bet no one would guess it was a poo bag.
I can't tell you how much I love this.
Poo bag? This blog is going to the dogs.
Last word for Bellis.
one thing that i noticed with a great photo is that, you will be drawn to click the photo even if its small as a thumbnail...
with this photo., even if its small., its intriguing enough for the viewer to view and look at it in a bigger picture. that makes the photo interesting...
love the shot! great idea. :)
Never would have guessed a poo bag could look this great!!!
Besides being an enjoyable photograph, this says something about what our attitude should be during these dark days of history.
Hello, Mac, and welcome! Thanks for your comment.
Thanks, Chieftess.
Dina, perhaps you mean we should look for beauty in unusual places. I think of you often, my friend.
lovely. That John is so smart.
PA, I'm so glad you like this.
Is that bug a Jerusalem beetle?
Wow. I never would have thought of that. Now I'm going to go with co-workers when they take they dogs for walks... I'm bound to get a weird look.
Really lovely photo!
I think it's lovely, too. John encourages me to experiment. For him it's just a way of doing things. For me, a new habit to create.
