Zen Monday: #34
Zen Monday is the day you experience the photo and give us your thoughts rather than me telling you what the photo's about.
There's no right or wrong. If the photo evokes something in you, that's all it is.
As each new Zen Monday is posted, a label is added to last week's to identify it (if I know what it is).

When real estate play hide and seek.
Heh, my neighbor is underwater. I'm undergrass.
In the Pasadena jungle a wild bungalow poised to pounce on its prey.
Is it ok to come out yet?
They don't build houses any more like they used to.
I've heard of a sinking real estate market, but this is ridiculous.
Peek-a-boo, I see you!
We represent the lollipop guild...
Maybe this is a new trend -- build most of the house underground. Better than a tear-down that turns into a McMansion.
"Honey - I shrunk the house."
"Help me, I'm melting!" cried the Wicked House of the West.
We came upon a house
that seemed a swelling of the ground.
The roof was scarcely visible,
the cornice, but a mound.
Look at Vanda & Susan, getting up at midnight to steal all the good lines. I'm going to make them sweep out the basement.
I'm melting!
The Disappearing Dream of America Home Ownership. Going, going,...
Well, all I care is that we dogs still have our doghouses!
Vanda's alacrity is dazzling. Cliff's quatrain is an equal delight.
You guys are all too smart for me. I just thought "Well here's a nifty trick of perspective."
Kilroy?
Did that house sink? or is that another steep driveway down then steep back up?
Real estate listing: "1 bedroom, 1 bath charmer with cozy sunken living room."
P, I missed most of the Super Bowl. Knowing how much u care about football, how was it compared to other SP's?
I told the realtor I wanted someplace with low maintenance costs.
Henry always had that sinking feeling whenever he visited Aunt Bertha's house...
Peek-a-boo!
What do you mean "getting up?" I had not gone to bed yet.
I just realized what this house really reminds me of. In some olden days I used to go mushroom picking, and as young mushrooms were pushing out from the ground, peaking out from under leaves, they looked a lot like this house. If you wait a some time it will get bigger.
I wouldn't cook with mushrooms like that. Doesn't it hurt when you bite into a window or something?
I can't give you any details about "the wicked house of the west." This is what I saw and I took a picture of it. I don't know if there's more to it; it looks like there's more back there but I can't guarantee it.
Thank you all for making another Zen Monday a success!
Property continues to go down and down...
We've been out wandering around the countryside the last few days---so I'm a bit late in chiming in...
my first thought was:
I thought it was the housing MARKET that was sinking, not the houses themselves!
Chime in anytime, guys, the more the merrier...
