Zen Monday: #30

Zen Monday's the day you experience the photo and tell us what you think, rather than me telling you what the photo's about.
There's no right or wrong.
If the photo evokes something in you, that's all it is.

That poor man. Those marshmallows served on the hot chocolate are lethal! Don't touch that one; it's evidence.

The ancient Indian burial ground is barely a feet underground. This is perfect site for a new condo development.

I said 12" BEAD.

He was very specific. The only epitaph he wanted was "12 inches." He said you'd know what it meant.

Don't be hasty. Vinyl LPs are coming back, I've heard.

Scary message!!! I won't have taken a photo, who know what might happen.

I'm with Ted. I've been sick and my brain cells have turned to mush. I've got nothing!

But I do have enough to wish you all a Happy New Year!

I think all my good ones are taken.

The geek in me thought R^11, dead, dwaat does that mean?

I filtered through a few versions of alt-hikers comment and marleys.

Then saw it CLEARLY. It is not a rock, but the head of a bear, knocked off the body (been bashed about a bit)...mushy pieces laying about everywhere (those aren't leaves or eucalyptus strips), don't ASK what the green stuff is---bear juice? The marking on the ground is just coincidental marking my Pasadena Water & Power notating that the one summer I was supposed to be filling pot-holes for them, they had a 12" pipe that was doa.

whew! my work is done!

Grateful that the days of analog are past, Cliff?

Today we have everything from, how you say? Dirk Diggler, to Trish's bizarre flight of bear-bashing, to a bit of superstition on the part of Destitute Rebel. And Lynn started with what seemed like a non-sequitur, but I love it. It's just weird enough.

Thank you all! I check in all day and enjoy your comments. It's our first Zen Monday of 2009 and it's made me feel all fuzzy and happy.

Trish has deep eyesight....

Petrea Burchard said...

AhhaaH! Bernie. Very funny! Sorry for the thickness of my skull.

Email me, please, the locals have a question for you.

Petrea Burchard said...

Pascal Jim, Trish may have deep eyesight, but she's not called magiceye. Slam!

I do adore Zen Monday, Petrea!

Unknown said...

Petrea: not really, although I do prefer digital in general.

Somehow, between the 12" (vinyl), "Dead" and the rock/skull, that image strikes me as something the Grateful Dead would have used to sell a new album online.

But after two attempts, I just gave up looking for a clever way to say it.

Petrea Burchard said...

Zen Monday adores you, Lynn!

Cliff, my skull can be as thick as that rock sometimes.

We caught the 10" alive.

Petrea: Nah. I was being obscure, something I excel at. Next week I'll communicate better.

Love the Ice Box, by the way.
