That's at Hahamongna Watershed Park, William. I'll be posting more about it soon because the County wants to dig it out. Yikes.
KBF, thanks for the warning. I've been waiting for the vestiges of the previous rain to dry so I can sweep the front sidewalk. Better do it before then.
I love the colors in all these pictures. Those trees in your Hahamongna photo are the ones that Pasadena Water and Power didn't want the City to plant, for fear that the leaves would clog up the water storage basins. But they've been no bother at all.
Love the top shot too but my favorite has to be that blue sky against the mountains...never get tired of that sight. We don't have mountains in Coventry.
Very pretty, particularly that second shot. I'd like to wander down that path.
ReplyDeletelove that last shot..nice collage of Fall..hang tight for Thurs/Fri...rain

ReplyDeleteBellis, I never understand when people think of trees as a nuisance. Then again, I'm a tree hugger, I admit.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful collection of seasonal colours. It's finally starting to get cold over here, snow forecast for the mountains this week!
ReplyDeleteVery cool composition on top, it's my favourite.
ReplyDeleteYou be careful out there by the rolling waters, Geoff!
ReplyDeleteI like them all for different reasons, José, but I agree about the first one. John is a hell of a photographer.

ReplyDeleteI do think of the blue as one of our fall colors, Lauren!
ReplyDeleteI love ginkgo trees. There is a lovely line up of old growth Ginkgos on a street called Carlylis (?) in San Marino
ReplyDeleteI was at the Huntington today and saw the ones in the Zen Garden. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteWonderful fall colors! We're all in brown and gray of winter here. The closeup shots are especially nice.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ms M! We get our browns in the summer.
ReplyDeleteThat view of Haha could be Anywhere, USA, couldn't it?
ReplyDeleteIt could. It's Midwestern, or somewhere in Idaho, or Ohio.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I thought midwest. Though I have ridden this path maybe 900 times on horse.
