The squirrels or raccoons are carving my pumpkins for me. It's slow work - every morning I see a bit more of the intended shape. Wonder what it'll be? This year Tina's dressing up as a little devil to greet the kids.
I suppose I'll take a walk to the carnage on Braeburn before 10/31. It used to be kind of fun when Albert was frightened by the hanging bodies and such, but he has it all figured out now.
When the photo was loading from top to bottom, I thought those were Christmas bells on the gable and that you were doing a facetious post! And then up popped the pumkins!
It certainly is a fun night for the young ones. I still have my fun memories from many decades ago. ;) Thanks for jogging them.

ReplyDeleteI have good ones, too, Andy.
ReplyDeleteBellis, I'm sure Tina will terrify the kiddies!
Nice shot, Petrea. The pumpkins stand out well.
ReplyDeleteThat's a tasteful display.
ReplyDeleteI like it, too, thanks. Very refined.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of a birdhouse *wink. Do you get a lot of kids?
ReplyDeleteWe get a huge amount of candy traffic each year. Once it's all run out, we turn off the lights and don't answer the door.

ReplyDeleteIs that the whole street, or is it the ice cream house? They do it up big at Christmas, too.
ReplyDeleteVery discreet, and tasteful!
ReplyDeleteIt's not the ice cream house, but it is nearby. Here's a photo from a couple of years ago. Nothing tasteful about it.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Geoff!
ReplyDeleteI don't (dont) see your link, Karin, but I found a google image page and I think we can get the idea here: http://bit.ly/1xFtPEX
Happy BOOO to you, John, and Wilma!

ReplyDeleteOops, pumpkins...
ReplyDeleteMe? Facetious?
