  4. So does Vinyl have to sit at the back of the bus?

  5. hahaha, Dive!

BD, this is actually a wonderful store. I'll tell you about it in a day or so.

Jean, you're right. Or left. But why categorize?

Speedway, we'll keep that in mind.

    Good one, James. Maybe linoleum?

  7. On consideration, maybe the canopies are the victims of poor spelling and should have been "Carp et Vinyl", as in "Fish and Plastic." Here's a little ditty called "Fish and Paint" that sort of fits the theme.

  8. Surely it would have been "Carpe Vinyl", the Latin for "Seize the plastic!" (Not to be confused with "Trust the plastic!", for Dr. Who fans.)

  9. Hard to say which, the French or the Latin, the lady or the tiger.

  12. Clowns to th left of me, Jokers to the right...what if prefer wood? What does that make me?

  13. My point, Chieftess. At least now that you put it that way.

LOL, if I only have two choices, I'll choose carpet. But I hope for more choices!

Just your presence is enough, Margaret.

Shiny, Frank. You're shiny. In a good way.

  14. no no no, it is "Carpet MUST match the drapes."!!!

  15. I'm surprised no-one knows that carpet and vinyl are euphemisms for male and female. But I won't tell you which is which - it's fun watching people going into the wrong bathroom and rushing out again.

  16. Ah Bellis beat me to it!
I need more to entice me through either door really..............

  17. Tricky euphemisms - that happened to me in Vegas when I was a small kid

  18. Me too, PA. Did you notice it's the Brits who get this one in particular? I didn't get it myself when John took the picture, and I still don't. Don't let anyone tell you we speak the same language.
