Zen Monday: #120

Welcome to Zen Monday. It's the day you experience the photo and give us your thoughts rather than me telling you what I think the photo's about.

I look for a photo worth contemplating or, failing that, something odd or silly. And unless I absolutely must say something, I stay out of the comments box until the end of the day to avoid influencing the discussion.

There's no right or wrong, although some critters may disagree.

  10. I zenned out last night and forgot to swoop in for my final comment. That that it was necessary.

I am amazed sometimes at a dog's incredible concentration. Some dogs can be easily distracted (the old "squirrel" joke), but if you're in love with your kong, forget it.

  13. As in dog conversation. "Say, Fifi, howzabout you and me--squirrel!"

Dog attention span joke. Not particularly easy to convey in the comments box, I'm thinkin'.

  14. The squirrel joke is very well portrayed in the movie "Up."

  15. Actually, let me rephrase that. I liked it until they got to the part with the dogs. Then it got weird. And I would never show that movie to a kid under 10.
