Zen Monday #260

Every Monday is Zen Monday.

(First visit to Zen Monday? It's the day you tell us what the photo's about, rather than me telling you.)

I wonder what time he started, better yet, how long and how far he has to go?! :-)

His own little bit of heaven, right there, and probably the only peace and quiet he'll find all day. But I do hope he started early to avoid the mid-day heat.

It's been hot and dry for weeks and the grass hasn't grown, but it's my job to cut it so I'm going to do it no matter what.

(I don't blame him - must be delightful to have an outdoor job like that).

I think they should let it grow.

Me, too.

Long grass--if you ever get some rain to make it grow--is delightful.

Gotta walk the lawnmower or it gets cranky.

Sisyphus' yard.

Tommy and Louise agree with Jean. They love long grass. Reading Clifford's comment, I think I need to come up with a lawnmower powered by pit bulls.

What a delightful way to spend a warm, sunny day. Of course the following days of sunburn and backache might spoil it a little.

Susan, you'd make a lot of dogs happy. They love having a job.

You got that right, Dive.

Close, PA. Arboretum.

Was going to post something about job security---walk slowly, you'll never run out of the job.

But then you mentioned the Arboretum. All I can think of is his job description not being "Lawn boy" but "Peacock Shit Spreader".

I'd like this even better if the sprinklers were on.

Now that's real lawn-Mower!!!

Petrea Burchard said...

Trish, you're not kidding.

I think the worker would like that, too, Hiker.

Chieftess, I'm betting he does it 8 hours a day, every day.

Wow!! I haven't been there for years and years - though I use the road north of it for a shortcut when trying to head east

I use that a lot. It's Colorado Blvd! So different over there.

Waiting for reinforcements.

Can't let that grass get too long; get it while it's down.

But he's probably just doing his job. And I hope he finished before the heat of the day. That's a lot of lawn to do with a push mower. Even if it is self-propelled.

On their way, Margaret.

I would have to think of it as an upper body workout, Ms M.
