Zen
Monday is the day you experience the photo and give us your thoughts,
rather than me telling you what I think the photo's about. But this is Zen Tuesday so the rules are even fewer and farther between.
Looks like a museum to bygone forms of communication. The letter, the Blackberry. The carrier pigeon is up in the rafters and I have no idea what the locks were used for!
I guess this illustrates just how our inventions have compressed time, so that what looks like what should be archaeological relics from eons ago are actually only 5 years old.

Blackened Blackberry A delicacy in Washington D.C..
I saw where someone was growing crystals on old books (shudder) but this makes even less sense.

Research In Mold? And is that a floppy disk in the envelope being guarded by the American Lock?

Museum security? I don't know, I didn't open the envelope.
Wow, that time capsule is so, well, 2008.
You didn't open the envelope? AUGH! Now we'll never know.
Gosh, 2008. I barely remember it.
I'll have another chance to open it, Dive. If I remember to do so, we shall see.

Post-emergency collection? And the insurance policy is in the envelope?
Compressed time, Speedway - an interesting concept. It does seem like things happen faster these days. I'll bet people have always said that.
I don't know what the emergency was, Ms M, but it seems to have been involved with water.
The envelope contains keys for the padlock.
Rather than have his phone calls recorded by the NSA, Oscar took a blow torch to his Blackberry...
Of course I was there today, Cliff, and I forgot to look.
Ding ding ding! Up to the minute Zen News with Chieftess! The same type of thing is about to be a Supreme Court case.
I bet the cell phone spent some time in the water.... it's summer, you know? :-)
Right, JM, and we've had a hot one.
