Bookmarks: Ludlum I'm Not

I approach the drop.

I steal a glimpse over my shoulder to make sure I'm not being followed by anyone except my camera crew.

"Little...free...liberry...dot..............org! This is the place."

I write an encoded note so my contact will know this is the right book. Or maybe I sign it.

You know, this Little Free Library's got a pretty good collection.

No need to be sneaky. Leave a book, take a book. It's free. This LFL is at 1614 Las Lunas Street, Pasadena.

*************************

As the end of my daily posting looms I'm excited to have free time, but I don't want too much. I'd love to visit your book club and talk about Camelot & Vine, for example. Or if you're involved with anime cons, invite me! I'd love to come.

I keep a calendar on the main page of my website, so if I'm not here you can always check there.
Next up: tomorrow, Sunday April 28th, 2pm at Barnes and Noble in Old Town Pasadena, a group signing of Literary Pasadena: The Fiction Edition.
The following Sunday, May 5th, I'll be signing and selling books to benefit the Bloom Again Foundation at Lunafest, at Descanso Gardens. It starts at 12:30pm. Click the link to buy your tickets in advance.
Then Litfest! May 11, all day, at Central Park in Pasadena. Look for the Boz Books booth.

More on my website. I hope to see you at one or all of these events.

I love this post.
Now I can see from your website how this book has changed your life.

I never realized there were so many spies in Pasadena, each with their own encrypted messages hidden in a book in that drop box. In the covert organization I work for we leave blue dog poop bags along the side of the trails.

Thanks for the funny post and the photos, John. How about turning it into a movie?

You forgot the music here:

It has in a way, Dina. Writing is one thing. Publishing and marketing are quite another.

Bellis, the dog poop people will be in trouble if they don't remove those bags on their return.

Virginia, I grew up on that TV show (I can't remember if I saw the movie or not). I like to think of my mission as possible, but that doesn't mean it can't have a musical accompaniment.

The suspense was killing me!

Haha!!! Loved this post!!! And Virginia's music was a perfect addition...very stealth-y!!!

Haha, Des!

Turn up your collar and you're halfway there, Chieftess.

Another good series! Good idea, Bellis. John could turn it into a movie.

You two are just brilliant. The photos capture all the drama to perfection. I can just imagine you both putting this together. A video of that would be excellent :).

This library drop was very dark. So different from the celebratory tone of our visit to my local LFL. So good to know that each has its own personality. Have fun signing and selling books. I hope your smiling muscles hold up through all that! :-) You will be spectacular!

I guess we could make it into a movie, except Cold War spies have nothing to do with the book!

I hope so, Adele! Get this: yesterday's post subject, Sarah, is friends with the people who own this home and this LFL! The world is so teeny sometimes.

As the content manager of this library, thanks for the kind words, and for the plug!

You can find my books and my minions at Litfest as well--at the Elm Books and Book 'Em booths!

Best Regards,

Secret Agent Jess Faraday

Ohhhh yeah...Ms. M...you hit the nail on the head!!!

Wow! Sometimes, the world is smaller than a LFL.

Hi Jess! I love your Little Free Library. I look forward to meeting you at Litfest!

Good one, Ms. M, as Chieftess points out.

Yes Adele, and those libraries are LEETLE.

I'm liking the new photographer, whoever she is! (KB?) If you can afford her, keep her.
