What a sad and sorry looking sleuth of bears!

A cautionary tale for the kids: if you don't abide by the rules on the bumper sticker, you'll end up like the bears.

Looks as though Big Daddy has to force them to go to the Teddy Bear's picnic.

When Goldilocks grew up she developed some … er … issues.

Hello! I stumbled upon your blog and the word 'Pasadena' caught my eye! I grew up in Temple City and as a teenager in the late 60s I have many fond memories of cruising Colorado Blvd., Bob's Big Boy, the Rose Parade, Old Town, the Ice House, etc. etc. and all were my stomping grounds in those days. Although I've spend my adult life in Utah, and adore the outdoor lifestyle here, I visit Temple City, (and Pasadena), regularly where some of my family still lives. I've spent a few minutes enjoying your blog and I'll be back to see more of your Pasadena.

I've seen this truck around town, though not recently. I always wondered about the teddy bears. I think he's a scavenger, so maybe he can't stand to see the bears tossed out.

So Big Daddy's a teddy bear wrangler?? The poor bears look like they're on their last legs.

I didn't know what to think when I saw this truck. It looked like he had gardening equipment, so I don't know if it's a scavenger truck. It was parked in the neighborhood and the owner might have been working nearby. At least I hope so. Either that or Andy is right.

Welcome, Karen (What Karen Sees), and thank you for stopping by! Come back any time.

This one brought sinister thoughts to fertile minds.

I was thinking that it looked like the Teddy Bears didn't read the bumper sticker and got "helped" to sit down and shut up, no need to hold on with all that rope!

Maybe they are getting a lift to their teddy bear picnic in the woods?
