Rainy days and Mondays always get Boz down. Even Zen Mondays.
If Boz could sing, I don't think he'd sound like Karen Carpenter. I think he would sound like Robert Plant.
Sorry to go on. Zen Monday is supposed to be the day when you caption the photo instead of me. But feel free to add links to your favorite rain songs, if you're so inclined.

Hee hee hee.
Hoorah for Boz; practical, intelligent and surprisingly dextrous. Does he have English ancestry, Petrea? He looks like he'd be well suited to our climate.
Oh Boz, stay safe and dry, dear dog!
I must still be under the impressions of last week's war because this looked to me like Boz has his own Iron Dome. May he and you never know the rain of rockets, only gentle water.
"Robert Plant" on a Very Bad Day …
"That Rihanna chick has a lot to answer for..."
Boz needs to have a little B.B. King playing in the background.

"Even the outside conspires to give meh a beth."
That look says it all!..lol... is he embarrassed? Caption: 'under the weather'......(don't cringe, P.) :-)
Raindrops sure aren't falling on Boz's head!
Mama, you got a LOT of splainin' to do with that beemer behind me and you stick me with this bumpershoot?!?! Really?
I see Boz doing a Barry White version of Rodney Dangerfield's "I Don't Get No Respect". Deep and low.
And then back to bed...poor Boz!
Boz hates rain.
I don't think he's embarrassed, just unhappy. He doesn't much like having his picture taken.
That nice couple I look after got me this from one of those inventive gift magazines they picked up on a plane. It'd very kind of them, but I'd still rather not be out among these water drops - any moment, they'll be shampooing me.
does he whimper when it rains? our dog use to whine/whimper.
Too bad Boz doesn't like his picture taken, he is cute! Maybe you need to explain to him about his following online?
Do you dry him off with a towel? Lots and lots of dogs we know like to play "the dry-off game". Good excuse for petting and love from the humans! In fact, we know several dogs who hear the rain and either run out in it JUST to get to play the dry-off game, or just pretend they are wet so they can play!
"does this umbrella make my butt look fat?!?! I think it does. Mom, don't make me turn around, DON'T! Hey, everybody, look at my sexy toes, see, my TOES! Oh, they say black is so slimming!"
Awww... Boz Batman. He is precious.

Luckily, after the rain come rainBoze.
I want to wear what he's wearing! Sweet pooch photos always get to me (even if he doesn't like getting his picture taken:)
Oh how I wish I could have been there about 15 minutes before this photo was taken. Outstanding!
Boz loves towels. He owns more towels than John and I do, combined.
Why, oh why, does my mommy humiliate me like this? :-)
Boz will definitely cheer up with Speedways music suggestion...nothin' better than BB!!!
Of course...you can't go wrong with Stormy Weather by Etta James either...

I never meant to humiliate him, only to protect him from the rain. But I don't think he appreciated the difference.
Loving the music today.
Boz is a charmer even when he's bumming out because of the rain! Here's my favorite Annie Lennox song about rain, that seems to go well with this photo (especially the first minute and a half of the video):

Don't think Boz will agree with the sentiments in this song:

Now, that's what I call a "hang dog" look. (I'm guessing he got a treat and extra attention for being today's model?)
The music links people are posting here are wonderful!
I got sidetracked after the B.B.King and now I'm back. Just finished listening to Susan's Loudon Wainwright--loved it! I never heard that one before. Now I'm enjoying Etta James. Wow. Thanks, Chieftess.
I'll just keep at it until I've heard them all.
Ms. M, Boz always gets extra attention and treats. It's hard to figure out what to do for him for special occasions.
I just finished listening to all the music. Outstanding stuff! Thank you all! If you haven't listened to all of it, I highly recommend all of today's tunes.
I don't think you humiliated him, I think he just has the look of rathering to be anywhere else.
We know a dog who had some surgery on his ear about a year ago. To this DAY, if he sees someone new, he tweaks his head as if to say "look, my ear got dinged, I need sympathy". He usually gets an "Awww" from someone and a pat on the head for it and maybe a treat.
I would bet that Boz would look about the same if the kids on the street dressed him up--but he would tolerate it b/c it was the kids.
Don't give up the "Mom of the Year Award" just yet!
May we all live in a time when we only know rain.
In the meantime here's a reference to rain - "Beads of Sweat", Laura Nyro 1970

I think he'd be more of a Burt Baccharach.
