Recently there was a walking tour of the water history of the Arroyo, which I missed. But Bellis went, and the other day she showed me some of the highlights. I didn't write it all down, but I took pictures, which is almost as good. We're still
Celebrating Pasadena's Water Centennial, so for the next few days I'll show you some of what we found.
Just now, we've come down the path at the east side of Devil's Gate Dam, where tomorrow we'll enter the trail of Pasadena's water history.
Plus we'll just walk in the Arroyo which is fun, history or no.

Magical shot...
Beautiful - Cant wait to see more!
Beautiful shot Petrea!
My grandfather did a lot of work for and with PW&P. He would be proud of the progress that has been made, some of which was his doing, in the last 100 years. He was big into Devil's Gate for power and water control and not just because a friend of his liked to play golf @Brookside.
What a magical capture - I feel as if I'm about to enter Narnia:) So enchanting...
I'm glad you all like the shot. I love vistas like this one, they're like a visual promise.
Trish, stay with us. I'll bet you'll have more grandfather stories.
Can't wait for the rest of the story.
Captivating!
Well, you get an A+ from me. Fantastic.
Ah, it's a magical archway into an enchanted land. Mayhap we'll meet a faerie?
Oh, I like this!
If -K- likes it, that's a happy stamp. I'm not kidding—he's got an eye. So do you.
Gosh, I've got a million shots like this. I rarely post them because I'm afraid I'll bore you. But if you like them, look out.
I agree with the others -- this is a magical shot! It could be the passage into an undiscovered land....
Is that a faerie I see darting across the open area???
Let's hope so, Ms. M.
I believe it is, Chieftess.
This is enchanting - darkness into light...
