Boz Paws

Boz, my quiet muse.
Boz, our fuzzy bouquet of stink.
Boz, the focus of too many conversations.
Boz, who wouldn't dream of leaving the porch without permission.
Boz, the passive-aggressive non-complainer of the practiced moan.
Boz, whose limits are untested, unfathomable, infinite, or perhaps just infinitesimal.
Boz, the master communicator.
Boz, the despot of routine.
Boz, my honey-pot,
Boz has the prettiest paws.

  1. You have such a way with words, Petrea. Boz really does have beautiful paws. They are so well-defined and delicate. Happy weekend to you and your honey-pot.

  2. Oh, such sexy toes. And I'm not much of a toe gal.

Lol on the passive-aggressive moan--it is amazing how well placed they can "happen".

Seems to be sitting so properly for you to take the shot.

  4. Boz, the love of your life. You can have two, right?

  5. Well said. Pet's paws are one of their very best features, and those are paws to write home about, most definitely.

  6. I'm not sure why it's cheating, JS, but it was the photo I came across last night that said "post me!"

Today my human honey-pot and I celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. I should have posted something about that but I didn't want to get all sappy. Because if you think I love Boz like crazy, hang on, it gets worse.

Yes, you can have two loves, at least I hope so, otherwise I've got competition for John's heart, in the form of a stinky canine with pretty toes and soulful ojos.

  9. He's handsome all over, Petrea.
    Beautiful words and photo.
A very Happy Anniversary to two amazing people. You have our permission to go get sappy.

  10. Thanks, all. We just took a walk by the creek north of JPL, an adventure that wore Boz out (and his toes are now filthy). Ice cream and a movie later, maybe, maybe not. No rush to decide these things.

  11. Happy Anniversary to you both. Just been watching the racing at Santa Anita on TV live (Camelot's trainer won one of the big races), and the weather looks brilliant. So you enjoy! PS. As you possibly know, Camelot didn't win in Paris but it turns out he was a tad poorly on that day. Good of him to run anyway no doubt to publicise your forthcoming book :) BTW, I am noticing the lawn that Boz's paws are perfectly placed. Have a good day!

  12. As you point out, LOL, Camelot (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camelot_%28horse%29) has been kind enough to enter the public eye in time to help with my publicity. I adore him, and I also like his jockey's purple silks.
