Camelot Where You Are, #21

Today's entry is from Gina, the Book Dragon, "because books are a treasure worth protecting." I don't know anybody who reads as much as Gina does.

"My daughter and I had spent the day shopping," she says. "One of our stops was a bookstore, of course, where I found my Camelot. I ended up not purchasing the book so it still has the price sticker on it.

"I've had fun looking for Camelot!"

Thank you, Gina!

**********

It's no secret that I'm publicizing the release of my new novel, Camelot & Vine, and (you're helping me!) with the Camelot Where You Are photo contest.
Enter a picture of Camelot where you are.
It can be anything--a book, a building, a barbute--whatever your imagination tells you.
It's easy to enter and anyone can do it.

Then be sure to vote over the coming weekend for your favorite of this week's entries.
Each weekly winner receives a free copy of Camelot & Vine upon publication.
Publication day, whatever day it turns out to be, will be the final day for entries.

Next week we'll take a hiatus from contest entries to take care of some business!

What a cool cover!
I just realised I sent you the wrong photo for the Camelot and Vine Contest, Petrea. Gina reminded me I have a much more apt one from when I bumped into Rick Wakeman (he of King Arthur on Ice infamy) in the basement of our local discount bookshop, buying yet another book on King Arthur for his collection.
I'll try to dig it up and send it to you anyway.

Here you go: that's Rick, holding his copy of "Tales From King Arthur".
Hee hee.

Good ol' Barnes!.. Another great out-of-the-box example!.

Yes! I remember that post, Dive. Thanks for linking to it here. I'm listening to the video as I type. Nobody plays like Wakeman. I saw Yes at a huge stadium somewhere. It would have been their "Close to the Edge" tour, if there was one, 1972 or 1973.

Out of the box it is, KBF! I encourage people to think that way. Dive's picture of Rick Wakeman in a book store is an example of that, too.

I'll give him a copy.

I'll sign it for him, Dive, I'm sure that'll pique his interest.

It's a little freaky, isn't it, Chieftess? I'm starting to scare myself.

I love all these creative ways of seeing Camelot!

I haven't thought about Rick Wakeman for a long time. Glad Dive brought him to our attention. And perhaps he will want a copy of your book!

Did you listen to the videos, Ms. M? They really took me back.

What a find! The ubiquity of Camelot is kinda spooky!
