"Couldn't resist taking a picture of this sign for your competition," says Deb of Ginnels Gates and Ghosts, the daily photo blog in York, England. "I came across it completely by accident as I was driving home by a very roundabout route this week. Merlin International Trading Limited will apparently service your car as if by magic! Their company sign is the man himself, looking I must say rather sinister as he strikes sparks off a car wheel."
Thank you, Deb!

What a wonderful photo!
The sky sets the tone perfectly.
Wow, wish I had one! A cool addition to any rooftop or yard!
I think Deb found a good one! Perhaps it was by magic? :)

And also very fitting with Halloween coming up. Wizards and warlocks and witches, oh my!
Wouldn't it be great to have one of these? KBF, you have the right idea. It would make a dramatic weather vane.
Great sign and the dramatic clouds are a wonderful backdrop. I'd like a miniature version of this to put on my desk at work!
Hee hee. Love this one.
Great addition to the Camelot collection and nice to meet Deb. I love Yorkshire and now I can visit that area 'virtually' any time I want. Hooray!
I've been visiting Deb's blog for some time now and enjoying it very much. She has an appreciation for York's impressive history, and a knack for sharing it.
I love this one!
Yes. It's dramatic, dark, different.
Be sure and vote this weekend!
Oh, I really like this one!
Super, huh? This week is going to be a tough vote.
It's brilliant, our first view of a key character, Merlin! A bit unusual for a car servicing company to be so imaginative, but it must really enhance the village of Huggate near Pocklington. Don't you just love those English village names?
Middle Wallop (near Nether Wallop and Over Wallop).
Wash Water.
Winterbourne Dauntsey.
Martha Grimes knew whereof she spoke when she created Long Piddleton.
Well dang Petrea...Did you have to put this one in the same week as mine???? Ah shoot!!!
Chieftess, the bar is high this week with all five photos, and that has a lot to do with you! I figure the only fair wait to do this is post them in the order I receive them!
The bar is very high Petrea!!! I love all the entries...every week!!! It's hard to pick just one!!!
