Zen Monday: #212

It would be nice if I had a Labor Day-specific Zen Monday shot, but it matters not. It's Labor Day, it's Monday, it's Zen.

They forgot: No watering the lawn..That is dead grass isn't it?

Doesn't that just make you want to do all three?

I want to know what's back there behind the bushes.

Hey everyone. Don't say anything but I am going to make a dash for my ball over there by the fence when it gets dark. Okay?

No watering on penalty of death. It's the law!

Obviously they don't want anyone there ...what a pity!
It looks so dry.

If it's Temple City - there goes your view

Pity. Looks the ideal place for the next Blogger's Loiter-in.

Looks like the perfect spot for a soccer field.

Susan, you are so right. And a soccer game is none of the forbidden things, right?

I'm wondering what I could solicit here...

The sign should also include "NO Smoking" with all the dry grass.

Apparently driving is okay.

I don't know. You find an empty lot like this and a sign like this and you wonder, what are people thinking? As Shell said, what could one solicit here (on a quiet, residential side street in Pasadena)?

Not big enough for soccer, Susan, but at least it's level and as far as I can tell there are no rattlesnakes.

Flat, sunny...it looks to me like an urban micro-farm waiting to be tilled and planted.

Petrea Burchard said...

I don't see "no planting" on the sign, Gina, but you'd have to trespass to do it. Unless you got hold of some of these.
