Zen Monday: #199
Today: Zen. Thanks for commenting.
It's Zen Monday #199. That means next week we'll hit a milestone (ouch!) and that requires prizes.
In keeping with tradition, there will be no criteria. You can vote for whoever you want to vote for. The winner will receive a Lowepro EXS 160 Photo/Video bag (navy blue) and adjustable camera strap. The runner-up will receive a lovely City of Pasadena square chrome key chain. I'll add a poll here so everyone can vote. We may have to wait until Tuesday to do the voting, once all the comments are in. I haven't figured that part out yet.
That's next week. I hope you'll comment today and come back with your Zen brain next week for the non-competition.

After all, they don't keep fire extinguishers in pristine condition only for people to mess them up by using them...
so, is the extinguisher just there for aesthetic reasons? guess it adds balance for the wall.
We need the insurance money.
A new installation by Banksy, the anonymous "guerrilla" artist.
Do you know how inconvenient it is to get these things refilled?
A friend sent me a picture of a sign that read: "Private sign. Do not read." :)
And DO NOT even think about using the light switches either. If you do it will start an electrical fire.
burn, baby, burn!
Must be one of those exploding fire extinguishers...
I swear that extinguisher is laughing at me. He sounds just like Woody Woodpecker. Huh-huh-huh Ha-ha! Huh-huh-huh Ha-ha! Over and over and over. I don't think that sign would stop me getting my hands around that little bastard's throat. It says nothing about 'abuse'.
It's an ironic age, so I'm glad we have Petrea wandering the streets of Pasadena making sure we know that.
You're Welcome!
It's time for this pink wallpaper to burn to the ground.
You know, that sign has seen a lot of, well, use. It is planning its own demise by self-immolation and the phrase is, in effect, its living will.
A bathroom with menopausal issues?
In case of fire, panic.
well, truthfully, I really had NO plans for using that wall! Especially with that wall paper! Feh!
But I certainly am glad someone put a sign up to warn me!
I'll just be on my way into what looks like a bathroom behind it...wait, come to think of it, I'm not sure I'd want to use THAT wall either. eeew!
and on second thought...
wondering if maybe they replaced the fire extinguisher stuff with hand sanitizer...I'd rather shoot some of THAT all over the walls to clean that elderly wall paper, than an extinguisher! But, humnn, bad planning, shooting alcohol on a fire MIGHT just be a leeetle bad thing! oops! Good thing the sign is there!
As some of you know, I ordinarily stay out of the comments box on Mondays. But we have two new commenters, so before everyone goes to bed I want to say howdy and welcome to Gretchen Genz (woohoo! All the way from Chicago's north side!) and Donnie (all the way from the San Gabriel Valley!).
Thank you all for commenting today. Come back next Monday for the 200th Zen Monday extravaganza and we'll just, I don't know, extravaganze.
I'm still choking on the bathroom with menopausal issues!!!
