Once I found a wooden box beneath the Colorado Street Bridge. I posted a photo of it, perhaps on a Zen Monday. The police contacted me and asked me to lead them to it.
I have a wild imagination. Of course I think the "send help" sign is facetious or I wouldn't have posted it, but what if...?
Me again....reference comment above about Buick dealership! I really should have said 'I am pretty sure'. The building looks right but those additional arches to the rear seem vague in my memory. Hummmm.
There was a dealership on the northwest corner here. I can't remember if it was Buick or not. It's been closed for a while. Recession. The windows are not as interesting.
We should stop here. I shouldn't even comment. If you read all the comments through Susan's it's like a little story, with a beginning, middle and end.
Three Mondays from now will be Zen Monday #200. To celebrate, we're going to have a contest that everyone can enter, and everyone gets to vote on the winner. And there will be prizes!
Been a busy few weeks, am just catching up on posts.
I think Ms M is correct...think it was a Pontiac dealer, then Saturn, then nothing. Buick dealer was further out on Colorado near Fedco (eventually turned into the gazunta Target) in the last 20 years.
My only thought was "Send Help, I'm a 4x8' sheet of plywood in a rounded archway, I don't have a clue how I'm going to cover it all!".

White noise?
One of those "lived of quiet desperation," maybe?
"Lives," dammit, "lives." I'm kinda desperate in the a.m. so who knows what'll come out of my fingers.
Another police cover-up?
That little circular hole makes it more enticing!.
I"m clueless just like every other Zen Monday!

too late
Send someone to figure out how to wash these windows.
Where is this located?
Anon, it's on the north side of Colorado Blvd. near Hill Avenue.
I hope I'm remembering that correctly. I think it's in the window of the car dealership just west of Hill.
That's not it. I'm going to do some google street view searching to see if I can find it. It's on the north side of Colorado, for sure.
Did you?
Anon: northeast corner of Colorado and Berkeley.
I can't believe this but I can confirm it is the old Buick dealership from back in the 60's. I worked there for 3 months as a secretary. Amazing.
That got my heart racing.

Thanks for the link...had a look and I am sure my memory has failed me. Initially, I felt pretty confident I knew that building. 'Send Help.' Ha Ha!
smile
Maybe it WAS a car dealership, and they used to sell Pontiacs and Saturns, and perhaps in earlier years, DeSotos....
mysterious... hope they got help! for whatever reason. :D

I hope you weren't too late.
Nope. I'm with you: I don't know.
