Hahamongna Walkabout

Hello, my name is Boz, and I'll be your guide. Today on the Hahamongna Smellabout we're going to rub our butts on low hanging branches and pee on every single--

What?

Don't you want to pee? Don't you like to rub your butt?

I do not understand you people.

Fine. Go Walkabout then. See if I care.

I saw a lizard.

In related news, tonight's 6pm meeting of the Hahamongna Watershed Park Advisory Committee will be held at Pasadena City Yards, 233 W. Mountain Street, 2nd floor training room, Pasadena, 91103. The agenda is available here.

Speak for yourself. I'd be happy to join Boz on his terms. Though I think I'd pee on the low hanging branches and rub my butt on every single...

Hahahahah. Cliff, you would love the Walkabout, I'm sure, on any terms.

Boz is definitely in charge!. You go, dude....and yes, I like my butt rubbed, would be nice to find a loyal, unconditional man to have that done by tho...lol

Hi Kalei, I'm glad to hear it. I was beginning to think I'd offended. Was it "pee?" Was it "butt?" Was it "Advisory committee?"

I'd love to go on Boz's Hahamongna Walkabout. We'd stop a lot, and we wouldn't quite know what was so interesting about that branch, or that clump of grass, but who cares? If anyone living in the area hasn't yet explored this large open space, a fresh air lung, come along on Saturday, you'll definitely enjoy the view.

"And more thing: before man (and woman!) came, this was all Dog land!!"

I think that many of us would enjoy a Boz-style walkabout, if not for the fear of being arrested. :)

Yes, do follow Bellis' advice, especially if you haven't been to Hahamongna before. See what I've been raving about.

Absolutely, Cafe, I'm sure the Tongva people who lived and hunted there had dogs.

Leslie, I get your point. It would be fun, though!

Boz would make a great tour guide. He could show us things we would not otherwise notice. (I'm sure he already does that for you and John :-) ) I think I'll pass on the butt-rubbing of branches and "bush marking" though....

Petrea Burchard said...

He definitely uncovers things I don't otherwise notice, Ms. M. Snakes, for instance. That can be a good thing or a bad thing.

Tommy can't wait to join the Boz-led Smellabout.

Did you go to the Haha advisory meeting?

Petrea Burchard said...

I didn't make it, Susan. Wasn't feeling great. Better today. Why can't they have it today?

Leslie said...

It would be fantastic fun!

Oh, Boz. Will you ever win...

I think Boz has the right idea; my post for the walkabout on Hometown Pasadena took way too long to write and runs too long to read!

I like Boz's ability to be succinct and get right to the heart of the matter; biological needs, sensory stimulation, leaving your mark—it's all about priorities. Impressive, Boz.

Kat, I must disagree with you about your post. However, you're right about Boz. He's very direct, and a good communicator.

Hahahahaha I'm still laughing. Not at Boz, of course! At we, silly people :)

Wyn, I'm so glad you came and commented today because I got to come back and giggle today.
