Boz is muse to other photographers as well. He even appears in Ibarionex Perello's Chasing the Light, an honest-to-goodness published book about photography by an honest-to-goodness professional photographer.
John made this impressionistic image of our elderly beastie on one of our Hahamongna romps. Boz mopes around the neighborhood like Eeyore. But a dog can have a muse, too. Out in the open spaces where his cousin coyotes roam, he is inspired.

Boz is wondferful and you two are great at taking photos which share his spirit. Perhaps this picture captures how Boz feels as he's running? Love that this is all streams of energy and light.

LH, yes, this one captures how running makes him feel, or perhaps how he sees himself as he runs, as Hiker says. I wonder about that sometimes, although I don't suppose dogs are self-referential. But if they were, at times they'd see themselves as heroic, or at least Boz would.
One of my favorite pictures, lost long ago, was of a plain but self-assured dog looking straight into the camera. It's caption read "Man in a dog suit." While I laughed, it spoke to how I see animals, not so much as dogs, cats, horses, or whatever, but as beings with some sense of self, deserving of respect.

I love seeing the "impressionistic view" of Boz, too. That burst of energy. Excellent photo, John!
