Unseasonable Charming

It's been unseasonably warm, even for Pasadena. You step outside to take a break. The neighbor girls are having tea on the lawn. You are in Wonderland.

The artwork in the driveway is evidence of their artistic labors.

Pac Man? you think, who's youth are we living here, anyway?

That photo reminds me of when my two daughters would play w/other kids in the neighborhood... and yes, yesterday was gorgeous.. Would u believe I burned a bit after sitting outside at an outdoor eatery? It felt good!.

I am in Wonderland every time I step into your blog, Petrea.

How refreshing to see young girls acting like young girls. A rare sight these days.

It's been a warm winter here too.

Nathalie, they did seem happy. They're on semester break from school and taking advantage of it.

I do believe it, Kalei. It sounds like you had a lovely day, too.

Dina, that is a sweet and generous compliment which I accept, in hopes that someday you and I will have tea together.

Bayside, I was so pleased that when I asked for photos and they agreed, they didn't pose but simply went on with their party. Looking pretty, of course.

Such a great set of photos! Nothing like a taste of summer in January. Wait, are they eating salad with their tea?! And I do believe that's Ms. Pac Man they drew. Girls unite!

Lovely photos, nostalgic. Looks like they were having a good time.

I believe they had salads and sandwiches but I didn't join them. I took pictures, then went back to work. Boz would have liked to have stayed out all afternoon but it was before his cone came off. (It came off today.)
