Yesterday was different.
I usually work at my desk. I didn't.
Lately it's been sunny and hot. It was foggy and cool.
My dog, no longer forced to wear a cone, was happier.
We received a spontaneous dinner invitation and accepted it.
Routines serve a purpose, but sometimes you have to break them.

First time I've seen a light blue one.. Pink, yes, blue is awesome...Did Boz get to ride in it?
I liked walking through the fog yesterday morning.
No dogs in this car that I know of, Kalei. I've seen it in the neighborhood a few times. It's actually a nice, minty green.
Wasn't it lovely, Michael?
Cadillac peek.
@Petrea: minty green?? ok, I am going color blind!...bad enough my far sightedness is taking a hit...
There's always "peak Cadillac." It was on Pill Hill.
Kalei, it's probably just a monitor adjustment. I know my monitor is particularly dark, for example, and I adjust for that. They're all different. You never know.
Like your "tree" of comments.
Great car.
It's been really foggy here too. All this unseasonably warm weather has us waking up to foggy mornings and retiring to foggy nights. Eerily charming.
Great car. It's like a drivable jordan almond. Nothing like starting the new year with a few broken routines. Bummer about the fog and cooler weather, but glad to hear Boz is happier sans cone.
I hoped the minty green Cadillac had taken you to the dinner, but I guess not. Still, you piqued my imagination. Hope you break some more routines today!
Cool weather's okay when it's been so hot. At least dogs like it.
We did break a routine today: took Boz to Hahamongna for the first time in almost three weeks! Poor little pooper, it really wore him out. But he didn't want to come home.
That is a classic car. And it IS good to break routine every so often; keeps the "little gray cells" sharp.
I like the cooling trend. There's something a tad creepy when it's 87 degrees in January.
We are back to being warm and breezy. Summer is back!
Pill Hill? Where's that? I think all hills should have a rhyming name.
Pill Hill is an old name for Orange Heights. It was so-called, perhaps apocryphally, because a lot of doctors once lived there. Now there are show business people and other professionals. Probably still a doctor or two.
How did you wrestle this beauty from my Grammie's friend Dorothy? Oh, right, Dorothy left us a number of years ago. Wouldn't doubt it is the same vehicle though!
I'd not call it Jordan Almond green, but See's Candy Easter green. The beautiful "egg" candies in pretty pastel green, pink, yellow and once in blue. THAT is the perfect color descriptor!
Am SO glad Boz (and you) got out to HaHa---I'll bet he's sleeping well right now, having several dreams of chasing things! Nothing quite as beautiful as a dog running freely, or sleeping soundly!
wv: oraingla...pill hill, or oraingla, same district!
Hooray, Boz must feel so much chirpier now that life as he knows it is being restored.
You never know the history of a car like this, Trish. The current owner is obviously taking good care of it, though.
And yes, Boz got out to Hahamongna and is worn out! Still sleeping, Shell, but happy.
