Zen Monday: #169

Zen Monday's the day you experience the photo and give us your thoughts rather than me telling you what I think the photo's about. There's no competition, no right or wrong. Let your imagination dictate. We're here to have fun.

I look for a photo worth contemplating or, failing that, something odd or silly. Unless I absolutely must say something I stay out of the comments box to avoid influencing the discussion. However, I'm feeling more and more relaxed about that self-imposed rule.

Having just watched Bones and Criminal Minds can't help but influence my thoughts on this...."Kill the Heroes"? They're the only ones keeping us alive.

When I clicked here from FB it wouldn't open the comments. Oh well. I don't know why I was so anxious. I have nothing to clever to offer here as usual, except a question:
How do you kill a bathtub?

That's one potent tub.

That's either a cry for help from the future or an LSD flashback to The Time Tunnel. If it's both, we're in deep trouble.

Okay, could we see the next shot, please, where the sludge creature emerges?

Not only does your canine need a new TV in his doghouse, he needs a new bathtub! What kinda dog owners are you!! (I think KB could give loving care to a new boxer, if you know what I mean.)

I wish Dr. Evil, arch-enemy of superheroes, wouldn't dump his failed inventions in Hahamongna.

I am lost for words.
But I must fess up to a sneaky desire to get in that bathtub and nestle my butt into those soft pine needles. Just to see what it feels like … don't look at me that way.

So long as you keep your clothes on, Dive.

I'd rather take a bath in the stock market.

I'm afraid to imagine what's buried under those pine needles.

Fortunately, I take showers.

A haunted bathtub, left over from Halloween?

Is anyone else having trouble staying awake since the time change? I'm not dealing well with this, although I've been getting up early. I like that.

I didn't take this at Hahamongna; I took it above Linda Vista in the Pasadena hills on a piece of land called Annandale, which the city purchased for parkland a year or two ago. John and I drove up there right after the purchase was announced and before any improvements were made. I'll bet none have been made yet because of lack of budget but I don't know that for sure.

Anyway, there were a few not-so-well-traveled paths and we wandered a bit. This tub was so close to private property I wasn't sure we weren't trespassing.

Speaking of trespassing--or transgressing--I'd like to thank Dive for giving my brain the winning odd image of the day.
