Blog friends Kathryn, Tash, Katie and Virginia are visiting this weekend. Yesterday Kevin McCollister of East of West LA joined us for the Vivian Maier photo exhibit at the Stephen Cohen Gallery, then we had lunch at the Farmers' Market in Los Angeles. You can't beat that place for photo ops.
Because most of us met thanks to Paris Daily Photo, and because Kim of Seattle Daily Photo is visiting our Paris blog friends right now, I think a salute to Paris is appropriate. But to tell the truth, after all I ate and drank yesterday, I'm the one who's ballooning.

Eating and drinking is in itself a salute to Paris, Petrea. I can't wait to get back there and continue my quest to become balloon-shaped.
I feel the same, Dive. Of course I've only experienced it when on vacation so I had the leisure to stroll, explore, eat and dream. But I'd sure love to do more of the same there.
I'm sorry I missed meeting all the fellow bloggers, it sounds like it was a fun day. Our day out at Rincon Beach by Carpinteria was fun too - even though it stayed foggy all day.
How do the French stay so slim when they have all that lovely food to eat? The answer, apparently, is that they never snack between meals.
Hey watch that rolling cart. Who was the bossy person that moved it? C'est moi! :)

Stairs, Bellis. Whoever you visit in Paris, you've got to spend hours trudging up endless flights of stairs. Everyone seems to live on the top floor.
And they walk everywhere, Bellis. Everywhere. Stairs, sidewalks, miles and miles. The cabs are for the tourists, apparently.
Thank you for moving the cart, V.
I love the Farmers Market. How fun to share a little bit of Paris in the middle of Los Angeles with visiting blogger friends.
C'est tres jolie. Merci.
Aw, you guyz...I'm jealous. I walk everywhere and I'm still more round than I want to be. Wednesday, I plan to go check out the macarons (w/one "O" - I'm learning!)at a local shop, I believe they have a pumpkin spice flavor I want to try, as well as climb a bunch of steps to take pictures of the Indy skyline.
Sometimes you just have to enjoy and not sweat the small stuff...
Oh yeah, it was fun and we're all worn out! At least I hope it's not just me. Macaron photos coming up.
Madge, if I ate like this every day my stuff wouldn't be very small. But you're right, every now and then a few macarons are just what a girl needs.
Sounds like a fun meeting (and good food). And the photo is perfect.
Thank you, Ms. M!
