Zen Monday: #157

Zen Monday is the day you experience the photo and give us your thoughts rather than me telling you what I think the photo's about. This is because on Mondays I post the photos I don't comprehend.

Please share your thoughts in the comments as they come to you. Thanks.

This photo was taken by John Sandel, PDP's resident Zen-spotter, without whom Zen Monday would probably occur about once a month.

Harold's laid-back friends always told him his obsessively law-abiding nature would be the death of him one day.

Really. Do NOT use that door.

I love Shell's! Now I really want to see what's behind that door.

I dunno. Given his current condition, I think he might have been better off trying the door.

The strange thing is, my neck and upper back are stiff this morning, so that hook and eye arrangement looks pretty appealing. Plus, that guy must have a fabulous BMI. A trainer's dream.

"Now don't worry your little head off. This IRS tax audit is going to be quick and painless. Trust me. I'm from the Federal Government and I'm here to help."

D.B. Cooper has finally been found.

(Two Zens are better than one.)

Before selling kidneys was possible, a poor Indian family sold their mother in order to advance western civilization and put food on their table.

it's true

Looking at it now reminds me of a parable called "Before the Law," from Franz Kafka's novel „Der Prozess” (The Trial).

The text was adapted by Orson Welles as an amazing, hushed prologue to his film of Kafka's tale, with weird pin-screen images by the Russian artist Alexandre Alexeieff.

See that here.

And then he said, why are you fleshy humans always obeying the keep the door closed sign? Open the door. As long as you take me with you!

Do not use this door! Note the example of Irving here, who tried to open it one day...

After having his entire left side torn asunder when he attempted to use the door, Carl bravely used his remaining arm and hand to warn others of the dangers.

People are always concerned about catching germs in health care facilities. I guess Harold (or Carl, or D.B.) should have washed his hand.

PA, so uplifting! They must have loved her dearly.

Thank you all for another Monday of zentertainment!

Steven, there's no limit. Zen away.

If my shoulder bones were that loose, I'd have a lot easier time doing the yoga asana known as cow's head pose.
