Here's your Monday Zen, a chance to give us your thoughts on the photo without me telling you what I think it's about.
There's no right or wrong, no secret, no prize. Just tell us what the picture makes you think or feel. Have fun and enjoy the other comments, as I do every Monday.

Well, that answers the age-old question. It IS a bird after all.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
I really like Shell's post :D
No thoughts, just a big smile.
Crows stealing your eggs? Hawks carrying away your babies? Have no fear! Superbird will protect your nests.
… and the recession comes, even to the Fortress of Solitude.
Super!
I can't top Shell.
I can't beat Shell. That is hilarious.
I think I need a bigger door on this bird house. My cape keeps getting caught when I fly in.
Ditto Shell and Italo!!!!
Shell's comment is a show stopper. I always knew she had super powers.
Darn. Shell beat me. I knew someone would.
The supernatural strength that only Summer can give us! Wonderful! :-D I wonder wether the bird is wearing glasses when undercover....
Hard times are really upon us when Superman has to downsize.
Plagued by super-villains, the birds installed an inexpensive yet ingenious security system.
I thought Shell had tied up the quintessential comment position...but Tash...I think you've given her some competition!!!
all that was left of Superman's cape after the rapture were decals on the bird house...alas, Superman was the only one eligible for the rapture.
LOL!!! Geeze!!! I'm glad I'm not drinking coffee or wine as I read this!!! Trish...you just made it a 3 way!!!
Look up there its a bird , its a plane, no Its Superbirds house
Shell, Tash and Trish got it right.
S = Sparrow. Put him in the birdbath and he swells up to become Superman, IT'S A BIRD!! Then he towels off to sparrow size and returns to his perch for the night.
This is a fantastic photo! What a great discovery. I want one of those bird houses.
Hahaha! Can't top these comments, especially Shell's!
But I do wonder what the story is behind this birdhouse....
My friend shared this blog with me, because the photo is of my house! It was so funny to find it on here. I feel famous in an odd sort of way. Your clever comments moved me to chime in. Unfortunately, the only inhabitant of our birdhouse has been a black widow. The story is my husband loved Superman as a kid, and his dear, redneck uncle in Atlanta makes birdhouses with license plate roofs. So, there you go. I'm glad I've found this blog and look forward to finding other Pasadena treasures!
Hi Anonymous, thank you for commenting! It's rare that we get to hear from the subject of the photo. Our mutual friend told me she knew you and I'm glad you like the photo. It's perfect that you chimed in right after Ms. M. said she wondered about the story behind this birdhouse. It's a great story! Thank you for sharing it.
When I fired up the computer this morning and saw Shell's comment I laughed out loud. Impossible to top. If there were Zen Monday prizes, I think we all agree it would be Shell's today.
It appears you guys aren't DC Comics geeks, because nobody seemed to know what the Fortressof Solitude was. Not that I would have known, if I hadn't googled. There are some cool images on the web.
Hahaha!! Just lucky it's early evening for me when it's midnight over there, or I know I'd have been beaten to it. ;)
