I almost posted more muted grays and I thought, "enough already!" It's time we had some color around this here blog! So here it is, apropos of nothing.
If you work at PCN, the Pasadena Community Network, with studios at Hen's Teeth Square, you have regular access to these jawbreakers. If you don't work there, maybe you need to come up with some programming.
Or you could check out their weekly meetings about citizen journalism. Citizen journalists chew gum. I prefer Smarties but I'm not a journalist.

Yay, fuuuun!
Somebody on Facebook said it's not a perk if you have to pay for it. Any ideas for a new title?
I d'no … I kind of like "Facebook."
Sitting at home all by myself laughing out loud.
Now that I look at this picture on my screen again, that fluorescent lighting makes the gumball machines look all clowny and sinister.
They are sinister. Especially what's inside the glass bubbles.
See, I'm soft and gooey; easy on the dental work
and I match your shirt
JP has his moments, doesn't he?
PA: all that is true, my little Cupcake.
Hiker: String 'em all together and I just want to marry the guy.
I dunno PA...I can take or leave a gumball...but that there cupcake looks scrumptious!!!
Wild and wonderful shot Ms Petrea!!!
Petrea, how about "gum-me bears?"
Thanks, Chieftess!
Steve: Gummy bears. As in, "gummy." It's not the same.
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!
Hey, Virginia's up.
Sinister? I think this colorful photo is delightful! I'm guessing the treats on the left are Mike and Ikes and on the right Jelly Bellys. I think this would only be a work perk if you had a good dental plan.
Maybe it was the white balance, which is not necessary for sugary treats but perhaps useful in a dental plan.
Jawbreakers have lost their appeal in my older years. I still love cupcakes though.
By the way, the link to Hen's Teeth Square doesn't work.
Thanks, Susan. I think I've fixed it. It's my older posts about Hen's Teeth Square. They don't have a website.
Ah, my mistake. Sorry. I didn't scroll down to see the older posts. I should finish my coffee before commenting.
I drive by Hen's Teeth Square all the time but have yet to stop. I should check it out.
It never ceases to amaze me at the amount of places you find to take pics of that I've never heard of...and I grew up next door!!!
Honestly, it surprises me sometimes, too! But Pasadena's full of surprises. Every time I head down a new street I know I'll never manage to photograph it all.
