The gash in the concrete was so severe that stitches were required. They didn't hold, so butterfly tape may do the trick.
Somewhere, there's a mother with a broken back.
Look Mommy....the sidewalk has stitches!
Taping over the crack counteracts the dreadful consequences of stepping on it.
