Zen Monday: #135

On Zen Monday, I pretend I am a Zen Master. I ask you to experience the photo and tell us, in the comments, what you've learned. Today I'm not much of a master (as if that's different from other Mondays) because I must suggest that you click on the photo to enlarge it.

(Your first Zen Monday? Tell us what the photo makes you think of. There's no right or wrong. There are no prizes. Just have fun.)

Leave our bison alone.

Hmm... pointy fence, bristly cacti, three locks on door. Must not want visitors. A safe house for turkeys, so no lurkin' allowed?

Mom always said I'd have a house with a white picket fence...

Time to redecorate!

Having boldly put their stake in the ground, the turkeys now live in fear of enraged cattle.

"Eat Beef" sign in the sill of right window - gotta be a hideout for Pasadena's last carnivore.

What am I supposed to see when I enlarge it? The turkey? The locks? What's everyone else seeing? Is it me? Am I so lame? (These are my first thoughts.)

I'm in the pen.

Secret Butterball research site (tanning booth) or gathering spot for activist underground turkey cells ("Eat Beef!")

It's definitely in Pasadena, Jim. And I can find you many others like it.

Margaret, there's no secret! I wanted you to enlarge the photo because on my laptop I can't read the words on the sign. No need to over-think it.

Patrizzi may be under-thinking it. I'm not sure.

Cafe, you got that right. You all do.

I just turned on the comment monitoring. It's only for a little while. I hope nobody minds.

It's a turkey!?! I thought it was a Native American Indian, which explains my comment about the bison. Now I feel an utter idiot in need of a bigger laptop screen.

I guess it comes from reading blogs on a smart phone, Bellis.

Bellis...ROTFLMAO!

Petrea...where does one really begin? The door that's been broken in (a few times?); triple locked & looks like the locks have been flipped from the right side of the door; and don't ask me about what happened on the lower portion of the kicked in door; the tiles from the Eisenhower administration; the broken windows "fixed" with duct tape; the pitched concrete blocks that should have been "fixed" with duct tape after the last quake too; that lovely eat beef sign? the upside is the water bottle, instead of Colt 45 beer bottle at the door...but, these are just the start.

my mother would be SO proud of my house...it's got the required white picket fence ma! ;-)

wv: supre...this place is anything BUT supre!
