After last Saturday's post I implemented many of your suggestions and am now caught up in the holiday spirit. That day I promised "Christmas cheer on the blog, rain or shine, through Christmas day." It's been easy to feel cozy and cheery these past few days with the rain pouring outside and Christmas music playing indoors.
One of my favorite things about Christmas is the lights. Here are ours, reflected on a curtain and a lamp stand, with a little creative license.

Very nice shot, Petrea ! Quite different than the usual "Christmas lights"! I like it!
Merry Christmas, Petrea! I wish you and your family enjoy this nice moment.
Great colours! I'm impressed.
I wish you a Merry and Colourful Christmas
I am glad that you are showing your light(s)...
Merry Christmas, Petrea.

Why were you looking at my DNA through an electron microscope? Find out anything interesting?
Really cool yule photo! Hope there's a break in the rain soon so you and Boz can get out and soak up more of that Pasadena holiday cheer.
Merry Christmas everyone! It looks like the storm has broken, and we might get some sun today!
Oooh, aah.
Are you sure this isn't a Zen Thursday?
The best part of this for me is your caption! I really Like it, hohoho.
I mite half two borrow it.
Thank you, Cafe.
Des, maybe I should've saved this for Monday.
Happy psychedelic Christmas! Love the colors.
That is very cool! Very highbrow!
"If you must smoke, smoke Christmas Lights. Less nicotine, brighter taste."
I was kind of thinking of them as popsicles.
Loved the Christmas lights, Petrea. But you said it best. The most joyous light this week was the sun bursting through the clouds. I was driving today and I had to pull down my car visor. Wow, that felt good. Merry Christmas.
Beautiful, colorful, limpid and, dare I say, liquid light!
First full day of winter here and I am already tired of the snow. There's not enough for one-horse open sleighs, but more than enough to have six-foot mounds of gray stuff pushed to the curbs. I often look at my two little Christmas trees to keep my holiday spirits intact.
Merry Christmas to everyone! Keep the mulled cider flowing!
Did I say that, Steve? I think you did. But yes, it was nice to see the sun today.
Snow is so pretty out in the country, Speedway, where the snowplows can't get to it. Have another mulled cider, and Merry Christmas!
Ahhh...but where the snow plows can't go, the snow mobiles and cross country skiers can!!! We've got squiggly marks all over the hillsides!!! But it actually doesn't bother me...they make really interesting patterns in the snow! Today I went up to a vista point that I like and there was a couple there with their Rottweiler...she was having a ball racing through the snow and making her own trails...(the snow was as deep as she was tall)
