Zen Monday: #114
Zen Monday is the day you experience the photo and give us your thoughts rather than me telling you what I think the photo's about.
I look for a photo worth contemplating or, failing that, something odd or silly. And unless I absolutely must say something I stay out of the comments box to avoid influencing the discussion.
There's no right or wrong. We're here to have fun.

Those orange pylons are notorious groupies.
The State of California hits on a sure-fire way to balance the budget without raising taxes. No more free rain!
Petrea, I suspect that telephone pole was made from a Pasadena leaning palm.
Telephonia crashdownicus, if I'm not mistaken. In this heat, the calls drop like flies …

After trial period, you can buy?
WV: exazy . . . .
Dozens of thirsty bollards formed a line around the block, patiently waiting to be quenched. Crowd control was not necessary, according to Police Chief Phillip Sanchez.
Is that a porta-potty in the distance? Some of the posts in line are even a little animated, like their doin' the "really gotta go" dance...and the big referance to rain probably isn't helping!
Rainy Days and Mondays.
Pennies from Heaven
"It never rains in Southern, California"
I'd like to rent some of that rain on this the hottest day in recorded history in LA.
When someone figures out how we can trade rain with places like Seattle and the UK, I will hand them the Nobel Peace prize myself. (I will also serve them a nice spritzer.)
In the meantime, Mister Earl, I want to see that rain dance.
