Zen Monday: #111

Zen Monday is the day you experience the photo and give us your thoughts rather than me telling you what I think the photo's about.

I look for a photo worth contemplating or, failing that, something odd or silly. And unless I absolutely must say something I stay out of the comments box to avoid influencing the discussion, which can be highbrow or lowbrow. You never know.

There's no right or wrong. We're here to have fun.

Dog eared this page to remind myself how pretty the early morning light looks gleaming through the sage shrubs.

Nice neighborhood.

A photograph of one of the most stylish streets in Pasadena.

A pleasure/treasure for this old eye...

Happily, it looks like a tipsy civil engineer laid out the sidewalk to accommodate the trees, making a really wavy line to the end of the block. Another would've cut out the trees to lay down a perverse straight line.

Camera-shy Boz will be happy to know my attention is all on the lovely, pastoral look of your hood.

Oh shoot, I thought I was so clever when I thought of dogeared and Eleonara beat me to it!

Musta been a government and/or union job! No wonder that cedar is incensed.

I like the idea of tipsy civil engineers careening about, laying curved sidewalks to avoid incensing the trees.

I wonder if those engineers dog-eared a page in their notebooks to remind themselves of where they were when they left off.

Laurie, you are clever. Very, very clever. Now you know how clever Eleonora is.

Thank you all for stopping by on your holiday. I hope you have a lovely week!

Oh you know I can't produce on demand or any other time. I'm not a writer. I leave that to all of you out there that have the gift. You know who you are.

And will I ever tire of your comments? HELL NO!!
I love ya,
V

I'm a day late but I have to say I love any photo with Boz in it, even if it's just his ears and a slice of his head. Boz... such a good doggie!

It's all I can do not to write an entire blog about him, Susan. ;)

Petrea, I'm sure a Boz blog would be a big hit but if it's not in the cards, I'm glad he makes frequent appearances in PDP.

Petrea Burchard said...

Me, too. Thanks.
