Zen Monday: #99

Zen Monday is the day you experience the photo and give us your thoughts rather than me telling you what I think the photo's about. There's no right or wrong. It means what you think it means, or what you want it to mean.

I look for a photo worth contemplating or, failing that, something odd or silly. Unless I absolutely must say something I stay out of the comments box to avoid influencing the discussion because when I get in there everything goes down hill.

Next week is Zen Monday #100. What shall we do to celebrate?

I wish I could see this image, but my screen is covered in hot cocoa.

Great shot for this "Zen Monday". It's good for my temporary depressed mood. Thanks a lot.

That's hilarious! Big kitty on guard. Maybe the sign should be changed to "Dogs, Beware"

Thank you for making my day, Petrea.

A cat at the gate means a dog in the bush...

If it purrs like a dog and meows like a dog and plays with catnip like a dog, there's no doubt about it: It's a dog.

This photo, and the accompanying comments, really makes me laugh :)

I had a friend who had an attack cat. When they were showing their house to a realtor, the cat leaped out from behind a door bit the woman's leg. I guess it didn't want to sell.

I have to agree with Clifford on this one, tho I'm smart enough NOT to drink and read anymore--it was getting TOO expensive & Dell no longer thinks it is a manufacturing defect that my screens die!

about this photo...

you might want to consider this, they have a sign to warn you about the dog, but not for the cat--maybe they never were able to get the cat sign up before...gulp!

or

cats ARE brighter than most dogs, the cat probably took the "beware of cat" sign down

or

there is NO sign OF the dog, yet the cat is looking pretty content and well fed...humnnn!

or

heeeeeeeeere puppy puppy puppy....heeeeeeeere puppy puppy puppy!

or

tastes just like chicken, but with an afterbark!

and finally

the first thing that came to mind was the reverse of the "Far Side" cartoon "Cat Fud"---cat FINALLY got revenge!

Kitty sits quietly behind gate it could easily walk through, so Kitty must have definite sense of where his territory ends/begins. Do you want to challenge Kitty's boundary and find he's decoy for the Rottweiler?

Too funny!!! Even my Sadie-kitty was impressed, though Cleo though that big ol' cat was just too full of himself!!!

Mr. E...oddly enough, I remember that song...although I certainly never paid attention to the words!!!
