It looks like some young artist couldn't be bothered to finish this plein air chalk work, and a few other things besides.
Gray skies, cool weather, on the gloomy side. Perfect for writers, but maybe not so great for those artists who need the light.
Here's hoping for a sunny Saturday!

I'd give anything for a big cloud in our sky right now.
Loved your pastry pictures in your Overdog.
I hope some birds took advantage of that apple...
"I'm drawing a blank on this one!"
Thanks, Dina. I had fun shooting those.
Ha, Shell, surely someone has by now. Probably a raccoon.
Hee hee, Mister Earl.
Some budding Twombly must have answered necessity's call.
Sometimes inspiration just plein eludes us...
Lovely composition my dear.

A nice still life.
P: You're so clever.
Thank you, Anonymous, but I think J and Chieftess are the clever ones this time!
Good photo -- I like the sense of wondering who had been there before and if he/she is ever coming back to finish the apple before the squirrels get it. :)
I got very depressed the last two days when it was June gloom, but cheered up this afternoon when the sun came out. We're so spoiled in SoCal. And having no sun does mean we can stay inside to do all the tasks that other people save for a rainy day.
Too funny. I didn't get to see this Saturday. You'll get a kick out of my post for Sunday.
One thing I moved here for is the weather, but they never tell you about June gloom in the brochures.
Now I have to go see what Latino Heritage has in store for us today.
I want more June gloom please. Pretty please?
