Zen Monday is the day you experience the photo and give us your thoughts rather than me telling you what I think the photo's about. There's no right or wrong. It means what you think it means, or what you want it to mean.
I look for a photo worth contemplating or, failing that, something odd or silly. Unless I absolutely must say something I stay out of the comments box to avoid influencing the discussion (because when I get in there everything goes down hill).

"What the heck??!! I see the end of MY road and it's an ONCOMING TRAIN - FULL OF KIDS!"
Where there are children, there is food.
I know all about chasing cars. I better pull out my dog manual and see what is says about funny looking trains.
Brilliant. It's the tilt of the head that does it. Were this a cartoon, the next panel would have Boz' head turning toward you with a look of wonderment on his face.
Brilliant but baffled Boz. Is he singing: Should I stay or should I go now? If I go there will be trouble...
Boz: 'Oh no, are we on the Celebrity Homes tour again!'
I have no zen inspiration today, but just have to say what a delightful photo this is.
Training lessons can baffle the foggy canid mind.
Oh that is an awesome pic. Boz, with his head tilted just so... Brilliant photo P.
It's a Boz-eye view!!!
Welcome to the world of Boz!!!
Do you think the train will hit me??
I don't have a clever thing to say, but I do so love this shot. It is a Boz Eye View! Great one. Did he stay right there?? Reminds me of a southern expression:
"If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch!"

I am a good dog and I will stay on the porch but sometimes I wish...

wv: sissibut

That is a very interesting shot, I like it.
Boz had studied the old phonograph records for years, believing that others had misinterpreted the legend. And he had practiced. The semi-cocked ears, the scrunched expression that humans thought of as quizzical, the head tilted just so: all designed to focus mental energy in the ancient way. Early on he was able to control squirrels and weak-minded mice, but only with the aid of a concentrator, shaped just as in the old drawings. For years he honed his skills, practicing on the humans he kept as house servants, until he could control them completely. Eventually, he discovered that the metal buckle on his collar could completely replace the old, bulky cornucopia-shaped concentrator, leaving him free to project his thoughts where- and when- ever he might choose.
And choose he did when he saw the little train, full of tender young humans. He willed and the man driving the train turned sharply toward the house. "His master's voice, indeed," thought Boz!
"Looks like fun, can I go for a ride? Please???"
Great photo -- made me smile.
I heard the train before I saw it. I had no idea what it was (it made some weird sounds) but I was all set to get mad about it until it came into view--a colorful train carrying children, all waving at Boz. A kid's birthday party.
Boz didn't know what to make of it. The train went up and down the street several times, whooping and wheezing, kids waving. Boz just kept tilting his head back and forth trying to figure it out.
Finally it went up the street and didn't return. Boz rolled over and went back to sleep, whooping and wheezing in his doggy dreams.
i usually have to go to a buffet to have this many treats come to me....slurrrrrpity slurrrrp!
wv: guest...seriously, i logged in!
What's all that green stuff between the front of the houses and the street?
If you aren't the lead dog, the view stays pretty much the same!
(Love the Boz-eye view!!)
Mold, Kevin. It's just mold. Go back to sleep.
Its like I'm in a movie where the dog is the main character. and he has just came upon something important...
LOVE this--
Brilliant shot from the perspective of a dog. What a great idea!
Thanks for your comments, everyone. It was fun to see this through Boz's perspective. I'm glad I was there to reassure him.
Never underestimate our pooches capacity for deep thought!
back in town and catching up on your blog; I'm too tired to come up with a good zen caption, so I'll just say-- I love this picture!
Welcome back from your excellent adventure, Kat. Not too jet-lagged, I hope.
