Zen Tuesday: #7

Zen Monday is the day you experience the photo and give us your thoughts rather than me telling you what I think the photo's about. There's no right or wrong. It means what you think it means, or what you want it to mean.

Zen Tuesday--ah, hell, I don't know. It's up for grabs.

Paranoid people see things upside down and backwards. Makes perfect sense to me.

Naw, naw, naw...just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me...

Lemme see if I can find a photo to post in solidarity this Tues.

Caucauses this evening...

No joke - that sign is pointing in the direction of my house. Not that that makes me feel paranoid or anything.

I'm just excited you caught our main street in all it's glory. The big orange billboard, the bizarro church sign, those gorgeous street lights -- doesn't get much better than that, does it?

WV: Entubbed. That's what it looks like. Poor hills.

That tin foil hat shop's always drawing attention to itself.

I see now that the little guy on the crosswalk button is high-tailin' it the other way...

Paranoid? Walk this way... And I like how there's a firetruck coming down the street, and, under the Paranoid sign, the little figure by the "crosswalk" button is running in the opposite direction.

I'm not paranoid, I'm not paranoid...oh wait, what's that coming down the street, lights and sirens going full blast? Damn, they ARE coming to get me!?!?!

Hahaha! The strangest photos get the best responses. Wait--no, what I mean is, the ones I think no one will react to are the ones people seem most interested in. I've been hanging onto this one for ages.

I took about thirty pictures of this sign and none of them seemed like much until the fire truck came along, and even then it didn't really do what I wanted it to do.

But you did.

Now I'm paranoid that, while I'm thinking about pausing to read the sign, someone is else is hanging upside down above me, waiting for me to pause and read the sign...

First of all I'm falling about. 'Only in America.' But of course it's obvious what it means - it's the sign pointing to the psychiatrist's office.

Petra, thanks for comment - come and visit one day!
