(Who looks like he needs a drink?)
Guess who walked all the way to Altadena yesterday? Altadena and back.
It wasn't me.
Guest photographer John Sandel documented the trek with his iPhone. He claims that while he and Boz were taking in the tourist attractions a passerby walked directly up to him and put his finger over the camera lens.
It also deserves mention that both our intrepid travelers were invited in to shop at Altadena Hardware.
I suspect our model will be snoring on his bed outside my office door all weekend. That's okay. For being such a loyal trouper he deserves his breakfast in bed.

My my. You all get around...
A stranger put his finger over the lens?? What chutspah! What's with that?
Anyway, good walkers. Do they both get breakfast in bed?
Boz!!
a half mile on
we remember wingnuts
new moon
Bite that stranger, Boz!

Oh, Boz ~ mwah!!
Boz--what a feat--feet! Great job and I hope a well deserved rest is your reward.
(You have to wonder if the person was a celebrity handler used to protecting others from paparazzo...)
As fate would have it I saw them on their journey. I thought it curious that they we were out and about twice. Now I know they were going to and coming from Altadena.
It was diabolic! Guy walks up while I'm snapping away & before I can do anything, he places his index finger very precisely over just the corner of the frame—all to give the illusion that it was my finger. Which of course it isn't. I'm an experienced photographer. I have never and would never let my finger obtrude so. Nope.
Getting a head start on your Christmas shopping I see. A new weedwacker maybe?
I don't think I need to say anything.
John, send me the shot of that finger and I'll check the whorls in case this rude stranger is a long-lost relative of yours.
Thanks for the tip about Altadena Hardware, how nice of them to let Boz in. But wasn't he allowed in the liquor store?
Daisy thinks Boz is pretty cute...
Weird. I think that goes right up there with a complete stranger in a supermarket removing a piece of lint from my shoulder... awkward.
I hope Boz is taking it easy
Oh Christie, I have something for you. Finally! It took me forever.
Hmm, Bellis, John isn't home right now but I'll bet I could find said fingerprints around the house.
Chieftess, I take it Daisy likes older gents. Boz likes younger pups, too.
Boz is lying in the sun right now, Amy.
Never mind.
Good boy, John, good boy.
Oh I love me some Boz. Maybe you and Hiker can split the airfare for all the pups to vacation at Chez Virg. Smoochie smooch Boz. Happy Valentine's Day my buddy!

I bet he loved every second of it.
Altho Boz has a bit of a "hang-dog" look in the first photo (in front of a liquor store, no less), I'm sure he was wagging with joy to go on such a trek.
Sometimes people do odd things in front of cameras...
A digital photo crasher, eh?
I'm not sure Boz liked all of it. He gets tired and has to rest a lot. But he prefers being with his people to staying home alone, and he likes the attention he gets from friendly shopkeepers or dog lovers who pass by.
Excellent one, Cliff!
V, I wouldn't put Boz in the hold of an airliner, even to come and see you. We'll charter a private plane so the dogs can ride in the passenger area with us.
LOL I'm so guillible. Or forgiving. I was concentrating on Boz and reading the sign. Who cares about a little bit of finger in the photo?
Now I see it.
Uh huh.
He's waiting for someone to come out of that liquor store with the Colt 45 he ordered...
;-)
Indeed, Louis. He is underage.
But is he underage in dog years???
Not even. See those beautiful gray hairs?
