Special Summer Sale at the fashionable NASA Factory Outlet, Pasadena: - One (1) used Manned Maneuvering Unit, with - One (1) RCA model TZ-4601 mini-VHS camera-recorder Slightly soiled. VHS cassette bears footage of Werner von Braun's coffin spinning at high speed.
As I sit here contemplating whether to leave my rectangular space ship, the three rotund aliens watching me seem to be giving me telepathic messages...or can I just stare them down?
Today's the day, Cafe. I remember the moon landing well. I'm sorry for people who are too young to remember seeing people walk on the moon.
You got it, Steph. International Camera Repair is just east of Wilson on the north side of Walnut.
Good for Susan K for spotting the welding helmet ("all the weld was watching!") Of course I stood there taking pictures for half an hour and it never crossed my mind.
I usually have to google at least one comment. Today it was Cliff's.
I'd like to thank John Sandel for making this Zen Moonday photo possible. It was late at night so he came with me. Not because anyone would have bothered me, but because I wanted to take some pics from a low angle and I didn't want to be arrested for lying on the sidewalk in the pink light district. (Those shots didn't work.)
Thank you all for your teachings today. I'll be on the lookout for next week's lesson.

Isn't this the 40th anniversary of Neil Armstrong as the 1st man to walk on the moon - July 20, 1969?
Where's Space Barbie?
That's one small step for man...
One... Giant leap, for photography.
Is that Major Tom working in the pink light district? At least he still fits into his suit.
ET photo home.

Totally spaced out.
What a day, when all the weld was watching.
(creative, those window dressers... using a welding mask for a helmet)
I have nothing. But everyone else is very clever.
Satisy your post-apocalyptic photography needs in Pasadena!
Is this the camera repair place on Walnut Ave?
Does this space suit make me look fat?
Sorry, Petrea. It seems I have weighty issues on my mind. ;)
Ted & Katie: LOL!
One giant pink step for man, one...etc.
I like Susan C's 'ET photo home.' Lol!
R2D2 got mixed up when the Canon repair guy came out to "fix" him and ended up in the pink light district in West Hollyweird.
I do like that there is a big "WARNING" sticker on the window...like we didn't already plan to take some precautions.

Looks sort of radioactive, (the warning sign?) like a giant grasshopper will break through the backing at any moment.
