Mountain Sandwich

Light rain two days in a row.
Enough to dampen down the dust.
It makes me want to write a poem.
I'll have mine on wheat toast.

GOrgeous photo. Reminds me of Andrew Wyeth.

America in layers, no?

I couldn't resist the shot, and it didn't need much of a caption. Laurie would have been able to quote Longfellow or something! I have very little classic poetry in my head. I have to go with the un-classics.

The wheat certainly does its best to brighten up the view. Even gloomy days are strangely beautiful.

Wow, are you sure you didn't make a quick trip to Kansas to take this photo? Fabulous! And I'm with Laurie that this reminds me of Wyeth.

Thanks, J, glad to be here. It's so freeing to be able to actually click on links again.

Babooshka, it's nice that my sky could be in Ramsey, but I'd rather be there myself!

In your present state you could write a poem "The Computers in My Life."
