Zen Monday: #48

Zen Monday is the day you experience the photo and give us your thoughts rather than me telling you what the photo's about.

As I post each new Zen Monday photo, I'll add a label to last week's to identify it if necessary (and if I know what it is).

So many questions. What is that thing on the back of the suv, installation art or a smashed up car tire? Why would someone put a smashed up car tire on the back of their car. Doesn't it defeat the purpose. The car's back side looks fine, so it doesn't look like an accident.

And what's that toolkit thing doing there? What does it all mean?

And most of all, why are you holding a weird shaped piece of paper in your hand. Is it a clue? Does it lead to another clue? And another? Is the Knights Templar involved.

"Boz, I said we're going to burn rubber, not chew it. But since it's too late now ... where's my camera?"

Petrea went out on her first assignment as a Pap and just hoped Britney could read her carefully prepared calling card.

I'll have to meditate on this one...

It's amazing the damage your camera can do! It really shoots up things.

Finally, they are putting big mirrors on these larger SUV's....

Darn it! Susan said what I was going to say, and she even said it better.

A lesson in spinning wheels!

Vanda: that's not weirdly shaped paper, it's the back window of Petrea's car. You can see the heating wires.

I agree with you about the little toolkit emblem, though. Very intriguing.

The chain at the bottom looks like a bike lock to me.

This is one beeeezarre vehicle.

You don't know whether you're coming or going.

Items in this mirror may appear smaller than they actually are.

Brother can you spare....

never mind.

(Chains are safety chains for pulling a trailer)

Now to play detective... I bet the tire blew out at high speed while pulling an overloaded trailer.

It's a drive-by shooting! (picture shooting, that is)

I TOLD you doing wheelies down New York Dr would get us into trouble!

Not only did the wheel fall apart, the safety chain didn't do us a BIT of good!

Good thing Petrea was there to capture it for posterity!

Lynn, at first I thought you were trying to smear Petrea, but now I understand you to be speaking of photography.

"But Harold, other people put the wreath on the front!"

hahahahahahah USElaine!

Oh, I don't know, I just saw this one and thought, wow, I hope these people don't get a flat! I appreciate the detective work, Ted. I wouldn't have known. Maybe they were on their way to buy new tires? I hope so.

At first I didn't know what you meant, Vanda, but it does look like I'm holding a card. Cliff's right, it's the reflection of the rear window of the car I'm riding in.

Cafe you are so right, it's amazing the damage my camera can do!
